As part of its ongoing efforts to educate local residents about community issues, Asian Americans for Equality’s Housing & Community Services department hosted a crime prevention workshop at its 111 Division Street office this past Tuesday.  Detective and Asian Community Liaison Sue Too spoke to the 20 audience members about recognizing potential scams and how to prevent oneself from being pickpocketed.  In addition, she encouraged everyone to not be afraid to call 911 in an emergency and promoted NYPD’s language access services.

If you are interested in hosting a free crime prevention, affordable housing, or fire safety workshop, please contact Karen Lin at or 212-979-8988.
