Bruce Feffer is a lawyer and activist who has defended Asian Americans and supported AAFE for over thirty years. Bruce played a significant role in court cases AAFE v. Koch in 1982, upholding community needs in zoning decisions; victories for over 100 residents evicted by the 1989 fire; and Chin v. Board of Elections in 1991, which led to multilingual ballots. Bruce has leveraged his legal expertise as an activist, testifying to promote Asian Americans in the City Council; speaking out against voter discrimination and hate speech; and as adviser to hundreds of Chinese American businesses.
