Damaris Reyes is the executive director of Good Old Lower East Side, a neighborhood organization focused on keeping people in their homes and community.  Damaris serves on the Association for Neighborhood Housing & Development board, the Center for Neighborhood Leadership advisory board, and the Land Use, Zoning & Housing Committee of Manhattan Community Board 3. She chairs the Community Steering Committee of the Environmental Health Core at Weill Cornell Medical College.  Damaris has been acknowledged for her activism and innovation by the New York Women’s Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the Municipal Arts Society.
