Elizabeth R. OuYang is President of OCA-NY and has been a civil rights attorney for 28 years, and teaches at Columbia University and New York University. AAFE and other Asian American advocacy groups have joined Liz in organizing efforts on critical social justice issues. Liz has spearheaded many victories, including justice for Private Danny Chen, which convicted eight superiors and landed a federal anti-hazing bill; and the recent story featured in The New York Times helping Mohammad Hussain obtain citizenship after 11 years in immigration limbo.
