Grace Lyu-Volckhausen is the President of the Tiger Baron Foundation and Commissioner for the New York City Commission on Human Rights. Grace is a founding member of the Korean American League for Civic Action, the Coalition of Korean American Voters, and Black Korean American Mediation Project. Grace has held many local and state government positions including the Ethnic Advisory Committee for Former Mayor Edward Koch and Asian American Office and Advisory Committee for the Former Governor Mario Cuomo. Grace has taught at the New School for Social Research and the Gallatin Division of New York University.
