Asian Americans for Equality has a long history of helping members of our communities with a wide range of housing, immigration, and other quality of life issues. AAFE works with clients one-on-one to ensure their rights to safe and decent housing, to secure and extend appropriate government housing subsidies, to make sure they have access to social support programs, such as food stamps and Medicaid and to provide assistance with immigration matters. Counselors are available in our storefront offices in Manhattan’s Chinatown, the Lower East Side, Flushing, Queens and Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
