AAFE’s Lunar New Year Banquet Sells Out in Record Time!

Thanks to our friends and supporters across New York City, Asian Americans for Equality has sold out our 43rd Annual Lunar New Year Banquet in record time. We would like to thank everyone who purchased tickets for this year’s big event. We’re looking forward to seeing you at Jing Fong in Manhattan’s Chinatown Thursday, March 16.

While all tickets for the banquet are now reserved, you can still contribute to AAFE’s mission. The Year of the Rooster brings many challenges, some new and many old, but with your support we will have the resources to continue the fight for EQUALITY for all.

At the banquet, we will be honoring four distinguished members of our community. They include:  U.S. Sen. Charles E. Schumer; Javier Valdés, co-executive director of Make the Road New York; Yvonne Stennett, executive director of Community League of the Heights; and New York State Supreme Court Judge Doris Ling-Cohan.
