There’s an important election coming up in New York State Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018. AAFE is part of APA Voice, a non-partisan coalition committed to increasing civic engagement among Asian Pacific Americans. We urge you to exercise your right to vote this week.

On Thursday, New Yorkers choose which candidates will go on to the General Election on Nov. 6 for statewide offices, including governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general.  There are also several key races for seats in the State Legislature, as well as a number of local contests.

If you need to find out where to vote, click here for your polling location.

There’s a Voter Guide from the Campaign Finance Board here.

If there are any problems at your polling place on election day, call the state attorney general’s hotline at 800-771-7755 or send an email.

If you can’t vote in person Thursday, absentee ballots are available Tuesday and Wednesday at your local Board of Elections office. For more information on absentee voting, click here.
