AAFE just opened a new and improved office for our community services in Jackson Heights.
Beginning March 18, 2019 our Community Services Center is located at 37-61 84th St., between Roosevelt Avenue and 84th St. The new office is ADA-accessible and on street level. We’re open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday (the location is closed from noon to 1 p.m.)
AAFE counselors are available to help with a range of issues, including:
- Naturalization applications
- ESL/Civics instruction
- Tenant/Landlord matters
- Food stamps
- Medicare waivers
- Health insurance coverage
We are committed to providing direct services and referrals to everyone, regardless of immigration status. Our services include health and entitlements counseling, tenant advocacy, immigration, and English/Civic classes, and we speak English, Chinese and Spanish.
