AAFE’s mission is to enrich the lives of Asian Americans and all of those in need. We are dedicated to advancing racial, social and economic justice across New York City, helping underserved and marginalized communities reach their full potential.
In our new video, you will meet Danielle Katz, a small business owner in Brooklyn; Fiona Shi and Joy Hoo, teacher and adult learner in AAFE’s Digital Learning Lab; and Anna Hernandez, a resident of our One Flushing building in Queens. They speak powerfully about the impact of our programs. Every day, AAFE supports immigrant entrepreneurs, helps people learn new skills and preserves safe and affordable housing.
We are living through uncertain times. The COVID-19 crisis has upended everyone’s life, endangering the well-being of the most vulnerable among us. There has never been a more important time to support our communities through innovative programs, fierce advocacy and by providing critical emergency aid to help New Yorkers through one of the most difficult periods in our city’s history. We will get through this together.
One of AAFE’s biggest priorities right now is helping immigrant small businesses survive COVID-19. Your contribution today will support this urgent mission.
