AAFE has launched monthly food pantry programming at our Jackson Heights office to help combat food insecurity in our local community.

Join AAFE and Legal Services NYC for our monthly free legal clinic in Queens. We offer complementary 30-minute consultations on a range of housing-related topics, including: landlord/tenant issues, eviction proceedings, apartment and building repairs and tenant harassment. AAFE and the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) have teamed up for a monthly legal clinic in our Lower East Side community center.  We offer free 30 minute consultations with AABANY's volunteer attorneys on a range of legal issues.  First come, first serve. No need to make an appointment in advance. Location: 111 Norfolk St., Manhattan; Time: 6:30-8:30 PM.

AAFE is hosting a housing rights workshop on Wednesday, September 30. With colder month approaching, learn about your rights to heat and hot water and resources available to you. The first 20 participants will receive a free food basket! This workshop will be offered in Spanish. Co-Sponsors: State Sen. Mike Gianaris and NYC Council member Shekar Krishnan.
