AAFE and the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) have teamed up for a monthly legal clinic in our Lower East Side community center.  We offer free 30 minute consultations with AABANY's volunteer attorneys on a range of legal issues.  First come, first serve. No need to make an appointment in advance. Location: 111 Norfolk St., Manhattan; Time: 6:30-8:30 PM.

AAFE is partnering with Legal Services NYC and Council Member Shekar Krishnan to host a pro bono legal clinic in our Jackson Heights office. We will offer free 30 minute consultations with volunteer attorneys on a range of legal issues. Registration is required. Please call 718-316-9993 to reserve your spot. The first Tuesday of each month, AAFE staff members in our Chinatown office are available to help eligible community members sign up for reduced fare MetroCards. Applicants must be 65+ or have qualifying disabilities. Only the first 20 people can be accommodated each month - first come, first-served. Call (212) 979-8988 to reserve your spot. AAFE's food pantry will be held at our Jackson Heights office: 📍 37-61 84th St, Jackson Heights, NY 11372 🕐 Thursday, August 13 at 1pm-3pm The pantry is first come, first serve. AAFE has launched monthly food pantry programming at our Jackson Heights office to help combat food insecurity in our local community.
