Learn how to apply for AAFE affordable housing

Affordable apartments in AAFE buildings under development and apartment vacancies in existing buildings are filled through housing lotteries. Depending on the building and relevant affordable housing programs, these lotteries are either offered through NYC Housing Connect or through AAFE-sponsored lotteries. From time to time, new lotteries occur to replenish waiting lists. For apartments offered at 80% of Area Median Income (AMI), applications are accepted at any time.

To request an application by mail, please send a self-addressed envelope to:

Stanton Norfolk Inc.
PO Box 54
Knickerbocker Station
New York, NY 10002

We announce lotteries for both new buildings and our waiting lists via our website and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, WeChat). You can sign up to receive AAFE housing alerts below.

If you need assistance navigating Housing Connect or completing your application, please contact AAFE Community Services. Help is available in English, Chinese and Spanish.
